Hey, guys hope you are doing great. Welcome back to our channel consultant mindset. Life can be bleak, even pitched dark. Whenever you lose a job, end a relationship or have challenges and hardships you face the gloomy waves of despair. We cannot avoid them but can develop the courage to face them. Despite having challenges and hardships, we fail to achieve a specific goal in our life. This makes us feels demotivated and stressed out. How do you feel if you fail to achieve that peculiar goal in which you have been incorporating constant efforts? Let me know in the comment sections about your feeling.

There are some times in our lives when we don’t feel like putting much effort into our things. The feeling of losing our goal and giving up kicks in. Feelings of disappointment, despair, regret, dismay and sadness make you feel unease. Such emotions are the signal to initialize the first step towards your revolution. You can modify your defeat by taking the first step towards change.

Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain [and] difficulty.

Theodore Roosevelt

Expecting to win without facing any hurdles and obstacles is just a mere misconception. We cannot have the fruit until we water the plant. The watering of plants is the hardships and struggles that we give them. What are those initiatives that can be taken to keep up with courage and self-confidence?

Pause everything

I am aware of this guilty feeling that we feel whenever we fail or we lose someone close to us. We begin to consider ourselves responsible for all the chaos. however, that is not an appreciating step. We will have to face the ultimate circumstances to handle ourselves. Pausing everything means the project that is currently under construction should be delayed for some time. The events that occur with boosted energies and zeal yield tremendous results. What are your opinions about it? There is a huge difference between those works carried out in low-level energies and high-level energies. The work done with great might has heavenly conclusions. What are the benefits of pausing your work? Pausing your project gives you the space to fulfil your energy and regain those energy boosters. The main reason behind the feeling to quit is to find a way to escape despair, frustration and stress.

“Every now and then go away, have a little relaxation, for when you come back to your work your judgment will be surer, since to remain constantly at work will cause you to lose power of judgment. Go some distance away, because then the work appears smaller, and more of it can be taken in at a glance, and lack of harmony and proportion is more readily seen.”

– Leonardo da Vinci

Whenever you feel like quitting, never let that emotion overcome you. Instead try pausing things that are the cause of disappointment, despair and stress in your life.

Create a distraction

Why do we feel like quitting? There can be many reasons behind it. One of the reasons is the saturation of our brains. Our brain becomes saturated and we become unable to comprehend even the easiest of information. Giving yourself a break helps you induce a major comeback. Giving your mind a break helps you restore that lost energy. You can use that time to travel, watch TV, read books etc. You can opt for ways by which you can replenish your energies. Meanwhile, you can go for small tasks that release a sense of satisfaction in your mind. Instead of pounding your head on the same thing, it is better to leave it for some time. You can finish some of your unfinished tasks by utilizing your spare time. The feeling of accomplishment after achieving those tasks will lift your self morale and raises your self-confidence. When you choose to focus on small things, you get the morale to combat the trivial matter with great motivation. Such trivial tasks serve the purpose to kill two birds with one stone. They can help you fulfil your incomplete task and can also help you get over the fact that you can achieve your goal at the end of the day.

Practice self-compassion

To err is human; to forgive is divine. Whenever you make a mistake, you feel like punishing yourself. Every mistake makes you want to punish yourself. The guilty feeling does not let you be at ease. Your instinct makes you penalize yourself. This kind of negative self-talk makes you feel bad about yourself. It makes you think that you are not enough and you are not worthy. You should give yourself a rest for just giving it a try. Always boost yourself for trying. Try again is the only way by which you can achieve your goal. Trying constantly makes you firm in this context that you have the potential to do anything.

I count him braver who overcomes his desires than him who conquers his enemies; for the hardest victory is over self.

Aristotle

Concluding the whole discussion, it is okay to feel that way. We can just overcome every tough situation by relaxing ourselves. A machine needs a restart to work properly, then why not humans? Hope you guys enjoyed today’s video. Stay tuned for more interesting videos. bye-bye.
